Edge bander mechanical and pneumatic repair
A clean edge depends on precise mechanics: the glue unit, pressure rollers, end trimming, flush trimming, corner rounding and scraping all have to be set correctly and work together. I repair and adjust these units, and find air leaks and pneumatic faults, on site.

Every station along the machine
Glue system
Glue pot cleaning, heaters and temperature, and glue application — when edges lift or glue won’t melt.
Pressure section
Pressure rollers set so the edge bonds evenly along the panel.
End and flush trimming
Clean, square ends and flush edges, top and bottom.
Corner rounding and scraping
Units adjusted for a smooth profile without chatter or tear-out.
Feed and panel transport
Feed track, top pressure beam and panel guidance.
Pneumatics
Valves, cylinders, regulators, hoses and leaks found and fixed.
Signs it is time to call
Edges that lift after a few days, glue lines you can see, uneven trimming, tear-out at the corners, or a hiss of air from the machine are all signs that a unit needs attention.
Problems like these rarely have a single cause. Glue temperature, glue quantity, pressure and feed speed affect each other, so I check them together and set the machine up as a whole.

Frequently asked
My edges come loose after a few days. Is it the glue?
Sometimes, but often it is a combination of glue temperature, glue quantity, pressure and feed. I check them together on the machine instead of changing one thing at a time.
Can you clean a burnt glue pot?
Yes. Burnt, hardened glue is one of the most common causes of glue problems. The unit is taken apart, cleaned properly, and the heaters and sensors are checked.
I can hear air leaking. Should I keep running the machine?
A small leak can wait a short while, but low air pressure makes pneumatic units work badly and can cause poor quality or stops. Call and describe where the sound comes from.
Machine down? Get in touch.
Call or text with the machine brand and model and what it is doing. A photo of the name plate and a short video of the fault help a lot. Monday to Friday 8:00 am – 6:00 pm, Saturday 9:00 am – 2:00 pm.
On site across Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond, New Westminster, Coquitlam, Surrey, Delta, Langley and Abbotsford — and across British Columbia by arrangement. Farsi-speaking clients are welcome.
