Holz-Her edge bander service and repair
More than twenty of my 23+ years in woodworking machinery have been on Holz-Her edge banders, and I was factory-trained by Holz-Her in Germany and Austria. I service these machines on site across Metro Vancouver and British Columbia — from the controller and electrical cabinet to the glue unit and trimming stations.

Two decades on Holz-Her machines
Many older Holz-Her edge banders in local shops are still worth keeping. Their controls, panels and units can usually be repaired and set up properly again, even where original parts are no longer made.
One common example: the original displays on older Holz-Her edge banders are failing and are no longer available as spare parts. See how that was solved →

Frequently asked
Do you work on older Holz-Her edge banders?
Yes. A large part of my work is on older Holz-Her machines, including models whose parts are no longer made.
The display on my Holz-Her is fading or dead. Can it be fixed?
Often, yes. Display failures on older Holz-Her edge banders are common, and there are working solutions even though the original part is discontinued. Call with the machine model.
Are you a Holz-Her dealer?
No. I am an independent technician, factory-trained by Holz-Her, and I service the machines directly at your shop.
Machine down? Get in touch.
Call or text with the machine brand and model and what it is doing. A photo of the name plate and a short video of the fault help a lot. Monday to Friday 8:00 am – 6:00 pm, Saturday 9:00 am – 2:00 pm.
