Electronic board and control panel repair
Many edge banders are still mechanically sound when an electronic board or control panel fails — and the original part is often discontinued or very expensive. I diagnose and repair at component level, with schematics, a multimeter and an oscilloscope, so the machine can keep running.

Board-level, not just board swapping
Control panels and displays
Operator panels, keypads and displays that have gone dark, flicker or show garbage.
Power supplies
Supplies that fail, overheat or drop out under load.
I/O and relay boards
Boards that stop reading inputs or switching outputs.
Component-level soldering
Failed components found and replaced, connectors and traces repaired.
Discontinued parts
When a part is no longer made: a compatible replacement or a working alternative.
Before replacing a board
A second opinion on whether a quoted new board is really needed.
A failing display, no spare part
The original displays on older Holz-Her edge banders are failing, and the part is no longer available. Instead of retiring a good machine, an adapter board lets a modern LCD show exactly what the original screen did — with no change to the machine’s controller or software.

Frequently asked
Is every board repairable?
No. If a board cannot be repaired reliably, I tell you plainly and help you find a replacement or an alternative.
Do you repair boards from machines other than edge banders?
Often, yes. Call or send photos of the board and its markings, and I will tell you whether it is something I can take on.
What should I send first?
Photos of the board from both sides, the labels and part numbers on it, and a description of what the machine does since it failed.
Machine down? Get in touch.
Call or text with the machine brand and model and what it is doing. A photo of the name plate and a short video of the fault help a lot. Monday to Friday 8:00 am – 6:00 pm, Saturday 9:00 am – 2:00 pm.
